Outlook - Mailbox Almost Full Step 1. Confirm Storage Size of Outlook New/Classic Open up outlook classic on windows Search bar Search For Storage Limit in outlook (Classic) For Classic once Launched -> Go to File In Files go down to Mailbox Settings -> Confirm Storage Limit. Search For Storage Limit in outlook (New) Go to the right Side of outlook New and click on Gear Icon In the Accounts Section go down to Storage Confirm Storage Limit Step 3. Remove | Delete | Rebuild OST File from Directory Path Follow the Directory Path: C:\Users\Username (User Profile)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook Delete the Outlook Data Files (OST Files) Right Click on the files and press Delete. Ost Files have been removed. Step 4. Rebuild OST File New/Classic If User is still logged into Outlook New or Classic Close out and Re-sign in. Note: This will re-build the OST File Once Signed back in Outlook Classic: Go to Files Go to Account Settings -> Account Settings Click on Email Account In Exchange Account Settings Set Download Email for the Past: to 3 Days Press Next Account successfully updated -> Press Done Have User Re-start outlook Classic for Changes to Take effect Once Signed back into Outlook (New) Go to the right Side of outlook New and click on Gear Icon Go to General -> Offline -> Folders to Save -> Change to Default and Days of Email Save -> 7 Days -> Press Save Step 5. Re-confirm Users OST File is now Smaller then Size Originally Go back to the Directory and Confirm Size of OST File. Directory Path: C:\Users\Username (User Profile)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
