Install 7-Zip

Encrypting the File/Folder

Right-click the File or Folder you want to Encrypt

Select Show more options

Hover over 7-Zip to reveal a menu

In the menu, select Add to archive...

These are the only two options you need to worry about

Change Archive Format to ZIP then enter a Password

Decrypting File/Folder

The user can use the Extract all option built into Windows 11

Or they can right-click the file and also use the Extract All.. option

Select Extract

Enter the password you used to Encrypt the file/folder

View the contents after extraction
